Upcoming programs at the Lower S’hampton Library

‘Bored? Game Night at the Library!’ Friday, March 1st at 7:00pm. Join us “after hours” at the library for board gaming fun. No experience necessary.

A librarian and other players will be there to teach how to play games. We will have a wide selection of games, but feel free to bring your own if there is one you would love to share.

‘First Thursday Book Club’ Thursday, March 7th at 6:30pm. This month’s book selection is “The Librarian Spy.”

‘Winter Tai Chi’ Monday, March 11th at 6:30pm. Learn basic principles and movements that will make you feel great!

‘Free Play Nintendo Switch™ Club’ Saturday, March 16th  at 1:00pm.
Bring your Switch™ and your favorite games. We can talk about the games you love and the techniques that are getting you to the finish! Talk to gamers, and game with other Nintendo Switch™ enthusiasts. Open to all school age kids, tweens, and teens!

‘Brickheads’ Thursday, February 22nd and March 7th and 21st at 5:00pm. An hour-long LEGO club for all you intrepid builders!

‘Pokémon Club’ Thursday, February 29th and March 14th at 5:00pm. Join us as we battle, trade and talk all things Pokémon!         

‘Family Storytime’ Mondays in February and March from 10:30am -11:00am.   

‘Baby Storytime’ Tuesdays in February and March from 10:30am -11:00am. Ages 0-24 months.

‘Hybrid Chair Yoga’ Every Tuesday in February and March at noon. Join Elda for an hour-long workout you will be sure to love. You will need to register for the Zoom link if you wish to participate virtually.

‘Stitch Witches’ every Wednesday at 1:00pm. Drop in for crafting, conversation, and companionship.  Bring whatever you are working on-cross-stitch, knitting, crochet, etc.!

‘Thursday Movie Club’ Thursdays in February and March at 10:15am. Check the website for a full schedule of dates, runtimes/selections.

‘Barks and Books’ Saturdays in February and March at 11:00am. Our friendly therapy pets will be visiting for children to read their favorite stories.

‘OneInMath’ Help your child improve their math skills. We will be hosting our free math program for kids K-3rd.
