For 53 years, Altomonte’s Butcher Shop has been offering only the finest cuts of beef. Our Butcher Shop cuts to order and will custom make any type of roast, beef, pork, veal and lamb for you.

Altomonte’s offers Local Farm Raised U.S.D.A. Choice & Prime Hanging Beef the way REAL BEEF used to be! Hanging Beef is beef that is minimally processed and allowed to hang in the cold dry refrigeration for an allotted time.

This allows for Dry Aging of the beef to produce meat with superior flavor and quality.Italian immigrants Mike and Frances Grispino opened their first butcher shop in 1971, called Mike’s Meat Market.

The shop also became known for offering Italian specialties, spices, and products that Mike and Frances imported because they couldn’t find them anywhere in America.

Later, they changed the name of the market to the source of their imports – the town where Mike and Frances grew up, Altomonte, Italy.

Today we continue to follow the traditions our father, who was a master butcher, passed down to bring you fresh, quality cuts of meat that you can be proud to serve your family.
