Upcoming programs at the Lower S’hampton Library

‘First Thursday Book Club’ Thursday, February 1st at 6:30pm. This month’s book selection is “Book of Lost Names.”

‘Bored? Game Night at the Library!’ Friday, February 2nd at 7:00pm. Join them “after hours” at the library for board gaming fun. No experience necessary.

A librarian and other players will be there to teach how to play games. They will have a wide selection of games, but feel free to bring your own if there is one you would love to share.

‘Winter Tai Chi’ Monday, February 12th at 6:30pm. Learn basic principles and movements that will make you feel great!

‘Ted Circles’ Monday, February 12th at 6:30pm. Each month watch a Ted Talk and discuss it through Zoom. Register to receive the link to this virtual program. 

‘Hourglass Drawing (Online) with Anita’ Saturday, February 17th. at 10:30am. Through this instructed tutorial, participants will draw a realistic hourglass using a #2 pencil and a 6B pencil. Registrants must provide their own supplies.

‘Free Play Nintendo Switch™ Club’ Saturday, February 17th at 1:00pm. Bring your Switch™ and your favorite games. Talk about the games you love and the techniques that are getting you to the finish! Talk to gamers, and game with other Nintendo Switch™ enthusiasts. Open to all school age kids, tweens, and teens!

‘Little Harmonies’ Wednesday, January 24th and 31st at 10:30am.

‘Brickheads’ Thursday, January 25th, February 8th  and 22nd at 5:00pm. An hour-long LEGO club for all you intrepid builders!

‘Pokémon Club’ Thursday, February 1st, 15th and 29th at 5:00pm.

Battle, trade and talk all things Pokémon!         

‘Family Storytime’ Mondays in January and February at 10:30am -11:00am.   

‘Baby Storytime’ Tuesdays in January and February at 10:30am -11:00am. Ages 0-24 months.

‘Hybrid Chair Yoga’ Every Tuesday at noon. Join Elda for an hour-long workout you will be sure to love. You will need to register for the Zoom link if you wish to participate virtually.

‘Stitch Witches’ Every Wednesday at 1:00pm. Drop in for crafting, conversation, and companionship.  Bring whatever you are working on-cross-stitch, knitting, crochet, etc.!

‘Thursday Movie Club’ Thursdays in January and February at 10:15am.
