Penndel Mental Health Center celebrates 50 years of community service

Penndel Mental Health Center (PMHC) held its Annual Employee Recognition Breakfast in the Ballroom at the Bucks County Sheraton Hotel, in Langhorne on November 29th.

The Board of Directors, along with Senior Leadership at PMHC, honored the commitment and compassion displayed by dedicated agency staff members who change lives every day.

Awards were given to employees marking their years of service and dedication to PMHC and their consumers.

The STAR Award was presented to 17 staff members who all have 20 or more years of faithful service to the agency.

Bucks County Commissioner Robert J. Harvie Jr., and State Representative Joe Hogan each thanked the employees for their remarkable and tireless efforts to provide mental health, substance abuse recovery and intellectual disabilities programs in the County.

Senator Frank Farry presented Karen Graff, the Chief Executive Officer of PMHC, with a Pennsylvania State Senate Proclamation recognizing PMHC’s work in community over the last 50 years.

This year was extra special as PMHC celebrates 50 years of Service Excellence to the residents of Bucks County.

A new logo and tag line were unveiled, which will take us into the next 50 years.

As we look to the future, energized by the changing attitudes towards the importance of quality mental health/behavioral health care programs, PMHC and its employees are ready and waiting to provide “A Stepping Stone to a Brighter Tomorrow.”

Penndel Mental Health Center offers an array of behavioral health, addiction recovery and intellectual disabilities treatment, services and supports to the residents of Bucks County.
