- List your home: Your real estate agent will handle listing it on the market. This may involve taking photos, creating a listing description, and promoting your home through various channels.
- Show your home: Potential buyers will want to see your home in person, so you’ll need to be prepared to host showings and open houses. Your real estate agent can handle scheduling and coordinating these events.
- Receive offers: When you receive an offer on your home, your real estate agent can help you evaluate it and negotiate with the buyer on your behalf.
- Accept an offer: Once you’ve received and accepted an offer, you’ll need to sign a purchase agreement with the buyer.
- Close the deal: After the terms of the purchase are agreed upon you will have to start the process of preparing all the documents for settlement. During this stage your agent and you will have to work with the office’s conveyancer and the title company.
