Spotlight: Good Stuff Thrift

Helping local children

What if you could buy high quality merchandise at lower prices while helping local children? Thanks to Good Stuff Thrift stores located in Huntingdon Valley, Buckingham, Doylestown, and Fairless Hills you can accomplish all these goals.

The merchandise changes daily. You can’t beat the prices for the value you’re receiving!

Most importantly, every time you buy something, donate or volunteer at Good Stuff Thrift, you are helping KIDS right here in our community and keeping our environment GREEN.

All proceeds (minus operating expenses) are donated to 14 local charities that support children: Christ’s Home, Hunting Park Christian Academy, ChoiceOne, Lenape Valley Foundation, Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic, Bethanna, Young Life, Tree House, Every Good Gift, The Baby Bureau, Hope Learning Center, Carson Simpson Farm, Lakeside School, and Valley Christian School.

In 2023, we donated $1,000,000 to the above charities and has donated more than $5,000,000 since opening.

Good Stuff Thrift is a locally-owned and operated store, so there is no corporate overhead.

In addition to a great staff, wonderful volunteers provided over 10,000 hours of work in 2023. Our generous donors bring lots of great stuff to the four stores every day.

It’s the community participation and God’s blessing that enable us to achieve our mission to be as efficient as possible to maximize contributions to our charities.

You can help by telling friends about us and sharing on Facebook or volunteering your time and donating your “good stuff” to us.

Drop your donations off at Buckingham and Doylestown, Monday through Saturday from 10:00am-5:00pm or Fairless Hills and Huntingdon Valley, Monday through Saturday from 9:00am-7:00pm.

For free furniture pickups, interest in volunteering, or any other questions, call the store at 215-428-2800.For additional information, visit www.goodstuffthrift.org.

By shopping, donating your goods, or volunteering your time, you’re changing a child’s life forever.
