Spotlight: The Dance Academy

The Dance Academy has gained a reputation for producing outstanding talent and professionals in a multitude of different fields. In the area of dance specifically, our alumni perform on stages in Disney, Las Vegas, Hawaii, and all over the world including Rockettes at Radio City, performers on cruise ships, entertainers on national tours, and professional cheerleaders for the Philadelphia Eagles and Wings, Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals….and the Atlanta Hawks just to name a few.

The one core common element that all our successful alumni have gained through their time with us is self-confidence. Their ability to learn, to set and reset goals, to work diligently, and to truly believe in themselves. Working individually as well as in groups lies at the very foundation.

Whether you are looking for a recreational class for your toddler this fall, a physical activity for your child, or looking to find a new dance home for your passionate more advanced dancer, it is important to start at a studio that offers a solid foundation in strong technique that can also recognize and foster your child’s individuality and unique creativity.  The Dance Academy offers all of this and so much more!

Because dance is multi-sensory, a nurturing dance education can lead to a multitude of benefits. Physical benefits such as increased balance, strength, stamina, physical fitness, muscle dexterity, increased coordination and improved gross motor skills can become apparent.

Dance also helps to develop skills such as self-discipline, memory and recall skills, increased focus, and social skills too!  Here at The Dance Academy your child can learn to develop a love for learning as we help to instill a love of dance.
