Sensational summer at Free Library of Northampton Township

Summer Quest has it “All Together Now” at the Free Library of Northampton Township. Read all summer long for terrific prizes, but don’t miss these exciting events at the library this summer. 

Eyes of the Wild, a live animal program to be held on Tuesday, June 27th at 6:30pm, kicks off the summer for families to learn and enjoy exotic and touchable animals.

Then, shine your light at our Summer Glow Party on Monday, July 3rd from 6:00-7:30pm.

Get ready to be amazed with the Magician Ran’D Shine on Monday, July 10th at 6:30pm, and be “grossed out” when the Da Vinci Science Center presents Grossology on Tuesday, July 18th at 6:30pm.

On Tuesday, July 25th at 6:30pm, be a science hero with Talewise as you save the earth from a polluting mastermind!  Finally, on Tuesday, August 1st at 6:30pm, join the New Jersey Snake Man as he does a show and tell with some slithering friends. 

This summer, the library has programs and events for all ages.

“Summer Stories” are on Mondays and Thursdays at 10:30am, beginning June 19th – a family storytime!

Relax with a good book and a furry friend with “Read to the Dogs” (grades K-5) Thursdays at 1:00pm, July 6th-August 3rd.

Movie Matinees for kids on select Wednesday mornings at 10:00am. 

Adults like to be entertained and informed during the summer too!

On Thursday, June 22nd at 6:30pm, the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles presents “Pennsylvania Turnpike: America’s First Superhighway.”

On Saturday, July 8th at 1:00pm, join Ed Eisen for his talk on “Memoir Writing in 60 minutes.”
