Let Parks & Recreation plan your summer fun

Northampton Parks & Recreation will make your summer sizzle with variety of programs, events, classes, swim club and more! Give your child a summer of fun with weekly specialty camps.

Watch for the new Recreation brochure coming soon to your mailbox. Cool off this summer at the Northampton Valley Swim Club.

Monday through Friday memberships are still available! Fee includes special value member events and much more.

Youth swim lessons are available, but register soon so you don’t miss out.

The Kids Fishing Derby is coming on Saturday, June 3rd at Tyler State Park, 8:30am-noon. Contests and prizes for this license-free day for kids under 16 years. Bring a fishing pole. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Sights & Sounds Concerts will make your summer sing. Concerts are held on Thursday evenings at the Northampton Municipal Park amphitheater, 281 Hatboro Road.

June 1st brings the sounds of the Council Rock Middle and High School Jazz Bands. June 8th the Bucks Women’s Chorus will perform, and mark your calendars for a special evening all about kids planned for Thursday, June 15th, 5:00-7:00pm. For a complete concert listing, check the P&R website.

The Kids Enterprise Marketplace will be held at the Municipal Park amphitheater on Thursday, June 15th starting 5:00pm, before and during the Children’s Go with YoYo concert. Local children will set up booths to sell goods and services to the public using skills to create, market and price their items or sale.

If your child is interested in a Marketplace Booth, contact the Recreation Dept. The community is encouraged to buy and support their initiatives.
