American Legion holding Annual Memorial Day ceremonies and parade

Jesse W. Soby Post #148, of the American Legion will hold its 105th Annual Memorial Day Ceremonies and Parade on Monday, May 27th.

The ceremony will begin at 9:00am on the lawn of the Post Home, 115 W. Richardson Avenue, with the parade commencing through the streets of Langhorne immediately afterward.

Musical guests will include the Neshaminy High School Marching Band, the Avalon String Band, the Tri-County Band, the Avenue Brass, the Ceol Naemh Pipe Band, and the Goodwin Combo String Band.

There will be complimentary hot dogs and beverages served at the Post Home, immediately following the parade.

All are welcome!

If you would like to contribute to help with the parade, please send your donation to Jesse W. Soby, Post #148, 115 W. Richardson Avenue, Langhorne, PA 19047.

They also need convertibles to transport veterans and dignitaries in the parade, so if you have a convertible or know someone who does, and would like to volunteer your car for use in the parade, please contact Walt Davidson, at the number below.
