Legion Auxiliary collecting items for homeless Veterans

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit #148, working in conjunction with local homeless Veterans groups, will once again be collecting full size personal care items during the Langhorne Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 27th.

In their mission to honor homeless Veterans in Bucks County and Philadelphia, they will be collecting the following items: shampoo, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, adult hats and gloves, hand warmers, socks, small hand sanitizers, combs, razors, box of individual wrapped snacks/cookies/granola bars/breakfast bars, backpacks, material big grocery bags (tote bags).

Donations may be dropped in the bin outside the Jesse W. Soby American Legion Post #148 at 115 W. Richardson Avenue, Langhorne between May 20th and May 30th.
