Morrisville on the Move! The Bridge Street Car Show is May 11th

In conjunction with local vintage car club British Cars of Bucks County, the Morrisville Business Association is again hosting its Bridge Street Car Show Saturday, May 11th, from 4:30-8:00pm.

The MBA will be closing Bridge Street during show hours, between Delmorr Avenue and S. Pennsylvania Avenue for an old-fashioned car show featuring vintage American and imported cars.

These are cars from ‘back in the day’; you’ll see vintage Mustangs and MGB’s, Pontiacs, Triumph’s, VW Bugs…all those cars that made driving fun! This is a nice opportunity to share your early car (and roadside repair!) stories with the owners of these young-at-heart drivers.

But an evening show also needs food, which MBA members Ashlynn Distillery, Ben’s Deli, and Bitch’in Kitten will be providing to the strolling crowds, and of course the other Bridge Street merchants will be open to offer their wares.

Bucks County has car shows regularly – what makes this one different? It’s because the Morrisville Business Association’s goal is to show how Morrisville is improving, and how this little riverside town is on the upswing.

An increasing population, new businesses moving into town, repair and construction sites throughout the town…this is a different town than that of only a few years ago.

Under the leadership of MBA President (and Third Ward Councilman) Andrew Lubin, and Vice President Dan Jones of T-BoneJones Solutions, they’ve greatly increased both the MBA’s membership roles as well as the Borough’s presence in Bucks County.

While Morrisville’s stalwarts such as Non Solo Pasta, Avanti Benefits, Snipes Farm & Education Center, Concerto Fusion, and Cunningham Hardware continue to succeed, they’ve been joined by Fame-Good Eats, Sarah Elizabeth’s Hair Salon, Ashlynn Distillery, Good Taste Chinese, and Onyx Real Estate Enterprises in bringing business into the Borough.

Perhaps Borough Manager Judith Danko says it best – “We fully support the MBA’s goals of making Morrisville more than just a pass-through town. We’ll see you May 11th on Bridge Street!”

Pre-registration via www.britishcarsofbuckscounty.com. $15 prior to May 11th, or $20/day of show.
