Soby Post announces Memorial Day Ceremonies and Parade

Jesse W. Soby Post 148 Langhorne, of the American Legion, will hold its Annual Memorial Day Ceremonies and Parade on Monday, May 29th. The ceremony will begin at 9:00am on the lawn of the Post, located at 115 W. Richardson Avenue, with the parade commencing through the streets of Langhorne immediately afterward.

Musical guests will include the Avalon String Band, the Tri-County Band, the Patriots Brass, the Ceol Naemh Pipe band, and the Goodwin Combo String Band. The parade will include a “Kids Bicycle Parade” with patriotically decorated bikes.

There will be judging and prizes in the Will Travel parking lot next to the Post immediately following the parade. There will be complimentary hot dogs and beverages served immediately following the parade, and all are welcome.

If you would like to make a donation to help with the parade, please send your donation to: Jesse W. Soby Post 148, 115 W. Richardson Ave., Langhorne, PA 19047. They also need convertibles to transport Veterans and dignitaries in the parade.
