Spotlight: Fletcher’s Garage

Are you doing Hot Rod Santa this year?

In what has become a treasured holiday tradition, Hot Rod Santa will make his Eighth Annual visit to Fairless Hills at Fletcher’s Garage! December 2nd, bring a new, unwrapped toy to Fletcher’s Garage for the “John Leski Memorial Toys For Tots” drive and join the fun!

A live WBCB 1490AM radio broadcast from 10:00am until noon, and the whole event is from 10:00am until 3:00pm. Lots of cool hot rods from all the local car clubs, fire trucks from the Fairless Hills Fire Company #31 will be here. Refreshments, coffee, hot dogs from the Disciples of Christ Motorcycle Ministries, and a whole lot of Christmas spirit from everyone in the community!

This year’s event will be hosted by Fletcher’s Garage (of course), Neil Flax (aka Hannukah Harry) from BAI Security Systems, and “SuperElf” Mike Russo from Aegis Investments. Bring a toy and enter the raffle for four FREE tires from Allen Tire and Rubber Co.!

In the past three years we have collected about 2000 toys annually for the Toys For Tots drive. Over 6000 children’s holidays made possible by this community and its supporters!

That amazing number was reached in large part by our good friend John Leski, who not only brought hundreds of toys and donations every year, but the spirit that he brought with them. We lost John this year, so I would ask everyone to bring a toy in his honor and loving spirit and help us memorialize John in the best way he would want us to, by bringing a toy!

It’s a big ol’ community party, so come on out, get a picture with Santa on your choice of hot rod, and experience the Christmas spirit that rolls into town every year! Check our Facebook pages or call 215.295.4931 for details!

Thank you everyone and I hope to see you all here!
