Spotlight: Tyler Park Center for the Arts

Mark your calendars for upcoming programs and events!

The next Community Day will be held on Sunday, September 10th from 1:00-4:00pm. The event is free and open to all ages. Light refreshments will be available for purchase.

The day will bring Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) Environmental Educator, Bonnie Tobin out to share some fun. She and Tyler Park Center for the Arts (TPCA) will be joining hands to provide crafts and clay activities.

The Beekeepers will also be back to offer information on the importance of these valuable insects.

Fall workshops are lined up and TPCA is excited to welcome back Sharon Carlucci for torch worked bead artist workshops.  Sharon is a longtime PA Guild of Craftsmen artist and educator as well as a returning Crafts in the Meadow artist. She is an amazing instructor and we look forward to having her back.

Peter Cimino will be back to offer his very popular clay sculpture workshops. Peter is a self-taught artist with a natural talent for art. His world class sculptures can be enjoyed by all on the TPCA grounds.

Save the dates!

The annual Crafts in the Meadow Fall Invitational Art Show will be held the weekend of October 21st and 22nd and offers something for the entire family. The show features over 100 fine artisans, demonstrations, live music, performing arts, great food, and refreshments.

For more detailed information on course offerings and to register, visit TylerParkArts.org or call 267-218-0290.
