The Garden Conservancy’s Open Days Program
Explore six private gardens in Carversville, Doylestown, New Hope, Wrightstown, PA and Stockton, NJ, open for self-guided tours to benefit the Garden Conservancy. Highlights include on site nurseries, a restored gristmill, extensive trial gardens of the W. Atlee Burpee Company, garden statuary, water features, a maze garden, and both formal and informal settings. No reservations required; rain or shine.
When: Saturday, June 17; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (most locations)
Where: Begin at any of the following locations: Millhouse, 6444 Fleecydale Road, Carversville; Fordhook Farm of W. Atlee Burpee Co., 105 New Britain Road, Doylestown, PA; Paxson Hill Farm, 3265 Comfort Road, New Hope, PA; Garden of Dorothy & John Meggitt, 5960 Pidcock Creek Road, New Hope, PA; Hortulus Farm, 60 Thompson Mill Road, Wrightstown, PA; or The Garden at Federal Twist, 208 Federal Twist Road, Stockton, NJ; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cost: $7 per garden; children 12 and under are free.
