Superfoods: Facts versus fiction

We are constantly bombarded by infomercials, Internet ads, and store displays that promote individual foods as the key to better health. But, no single food, no matter how “super,” can take the place of the important combination of nutrients from all major food groups.

Join McCaffrey’s Registered Dietitian, Jill Kwasny, MS, RDN for a free and informative nutrition program exploring “Superfoods: Facts Versus Fiction.” Jill will discuss what makes a food “super” and offer helpful tips to incorporate these nutrient rich foods into a typical meal plan.

As always, Jill will offer menu ideas, cooking techniques, and a delicious recipe to sample.

The program will be held on:

  • Thursday, May 11th at the McCaffrey’s Market in Blue Bell located at 1301 Skippack Pike from 10:00 – 11:00am in the Beer Garden area.
  • Thursday, May 25th at the McCaffrey’s in Yardley located at Edgewood Village Shopping Center at 635 Heacock Road in the upstairs bistro from 10:00 – 11:00am.
  • Thursday, May 25th at 1:30 – 2:30pm, in the upstairs bistro area at the McCaffrey’s Market in West Windsor in the Southfield Retail Center at 335 Princeton Hightstown Road
