It is the 40th Year for the Bucks County Senior Games! They are scheduled for May 31st – June 10th, and are stacking up to be the best year ever!
The games, open to adults 50+, encourage county-wide friendly competition and camaraderie. The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging and our partners – Bucks County Foundation for Aging, Bucks County Department of Parks & Recreation, Bucks County Community College and the Senior Games Committee, as well as many county volunteers – are bringing back participants’ favorite events, virtual games, independent competitions, and additional intergenerational games.
Intergenerational games include the Disc Golf Clinic and Tournaments, Football and Softball Throw events, and for the third year, Orienteering.
Eligible youth participants should be 17 years of age and younger and must be preregistered for the medaling events. Youth registration may be limited based on space availability. Add a new level of fun and bring the youth in your life! Be sure to attend the Senior Games Kick-Off Event, to be held at the Bucks County Community College Linksz Pavilion, Newtown Campus on May 24th from 11:00am-1:00pm.
The Kick-Off will feature games, live demonstrations, Senior Games T-Shirt and lapel pin pickup, various events, and more. Enjoy free lunch with friends, generously donated by Independence Blue Cross, meet other Senior Games sponsors, and discover Bucks County’s best active adult resources and activities.
The Kick-Off Event is free and open to the public, regardless of Senior Games registration.
