Eye care that puts you first: Eye Associates of Bucks County

We are fortunate to be living in a time with so many medical advancements.

Ophthalmologists now have access to treatments that improve and preserve sight, while drastically improving our patient’s quality of life by making our patients less dependent on glasses and reducing their need for prescription medications.

Cataract surgery has evolved from a surgery that required two weeks of hospitalization to an outpatient procedure, after which many patients return to most activities the next day.

Eye Associates of Bucks County (EABC) physicians were among the first to perform Femtosecond Laser-Assisted Cataract Surgery. This innovative technology utilizes a laser to make incisions and soften the cataract. The result is a less traumatic surgery and often results in even quicker recovery.

The standard treatment of glaucoma has been drops. Unfortunately, these medications can be costly and cause irritation and local reactions in and around the eye. EABC offers treatments that can reduce or even eliminate the need for drops.

For example, selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT) is a laser treatment in our office. In addition, EABC offers surgical options that can be an alternative to drops. Some can be done in conjunction with Cataract Surgery (iStent, Omni, Hydrus, and Goniotomy), and others can be done as a separate surgery (Xen stent and Goniotomy).

At Eye Associates of Bucks County, we believe every decision concerning your eyes should be informed and personal. Our accomplished physicians are dedicated to protecting, improving, and preserving eye health and are enthusiastic about providing the best possible vision outcome by utilizing state-of-the-art techniques.
