Mega Sports Camp a success

First Baptist Church (FBC) Morrisville hosted a Mega Sports Camp at Williamson Park in Morrisville, August 6th through 10th.

FBC Morrisville’s youth were the coaches for cheerleading, baseball and soccer and did a great job. On the closing night of camp there was a cookout for all the youth and their parents, and a video game truck for all the youth to play games.

FBC hopes to add other sports in years to come.

FBC Morrisville would also like to thank Morrisville Borough workers for helping during the week and Morrisville Little League for allowing the use of their clubhouse and some of their equipment.

If you missed Mega Sports Camp this year look for it next year.

MEGA Sports Camp to be held at Williamson Park

Hey parents! Ready to drop a TON of FUN right into your child’s summer?

Then MEGA Sports Camp is right for you! First Baptist Church of Morrisville is offering kids in first through sixth grades one awesome time!

At MEGA Sports Camp, Beyond the Gold, kids can choose between baseball, soccer and cheerleading. It doesn’t matter if they’ve played all their life or just started yesterday, MEGA Sports Camp helps kids improve their skills.

All sorts of drills and practice games will get kids focused on the fundamentals that make athletes great. Plus, MEGA Sports Camp creates a positive and encouraging environment that pumps up their confidence and self-esteem.

Between Sports Sessions, coaches lead in songs, tell stories and do cool object lessons that help character-building themes take hold in kids’ hearts.
