Spotlight: Austin Real Estate

50 years, three generations – Family Business

Austin Real Estate was started back in the 1970’s by Joseph Austin. Joseph was a Philadelphia Police Detective and went to school to become a Real Estate Agent and eventually to become a Broker and opened his own Real Estate Company in Philadelphia. He later expanded into Bucks County.

He continued to run a successful office upon his retirement from the police department. His daughter Shari Austin-Cullen attended Real Estate school when she was eighteen following in her father footsteps and continued on to become a Pennsylvania Real Estate Broker. She worked in New Homes Sales Management, Residential Resale of homes and Property Management for over 30 years.

Joseph retired and closed the office in 2002 and sadly passed away in 2008. Shari decided to reopen Austin Real Estate in Yardley Bucks County continuing her father’s legacy. She went on to also become a Broker in New Jersey and now has offices in PA and NJ.

Shari’s grandson, Shawn Cullen, recently went to Real Estate School and acquired a New Jersey Real Estate Salesperson License and is now working with his Nana at Austin Real Estate.

“I am so happy and proud to have Shawn join the family business, his enthusiasm, marketing and social media knowledge has brought a new aspect to the company” said Shari.

Shari and Shawn both have a passion for Real Estate and enjoy working with homeowner’s to sell their home and helping buyers and renter’s find their dream home. Their goal as always for Austin Real Estate is personal service.

They are available to meet all your Real Estate needs in PA and NJ. You can contact them at 215-493-1166 – austinrealestate@verizion.netsaustinrealestate.com.
