AOY announces 11th Annual Juried Art Exhibition

AOY Art Center Gallery is proud to present the 11th Annual Juried Art Exhibition, showcasing an array of talented artists from around the region. The exhibition will run from April 14th to May 14th.

The exhibition features a diverse selection of artwork, including paintings, sculptures, mixed media, and photography. Over 90 artists were selected through a rigorous jury process, ensuring the highest quality of work in the exhibition.

AOY is honored to have Jessica Todd Smith who is the Director of Curatorial Initiatives and the Susan Gray Detweiler Curator of American Art at the Philadelphia Museum of Art curate this show!

“We are thrilled to celebrate the 11th year of our Juried Art Exhibition,” said Bette Sovinee, Executive Director. “Our goal is to provide a platform for artists to showcase their unique perspectives and artistic styles. This year’s exhibition is no exception. The diversity of styles and perspectives on display is a testament to the vibrant art scene in this region.”

Visitors to the exhibition can expect to see a range of themes and subjects, from abstract pieces to realistic depictions of everyday life. Each artwork represents the artist’s individual vision and creativity.

The Juried Art Exhibition also offers several awards and prizes, including awards by AOY members and The Open Studio Crew. Winners will be announced at the exhibition’s opening reception on Friday, April 14th from 6:00-8:00pm. Admission to the exhibition is free and open to the public. Donations are encouraged to support the ongoing efforts to showcase local and regional artists.

The gallery is open noon-5:00pm, beginning Saturday, April 15th, and then Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through May 14th.  For more information on the 11th Annual Juried Art Exhibition, please visit aoyarts.org or contact Bette Sovinee, Executive Director at 215-493-1205, or director@aoyarts.org.
