Historical Society of Hilltown announces two upcoming events

The Historical Society of Hilltown Township will be holding two programs in March.

On Wednesday, March 22nd at 7:00pm, local author Scott Bomboy, author of “Wooden Treasures, the Story of Bucks County Covered Bridges,” will give a talk on the history of these bridges, along with a slide show of the covered bridges still standing in Bucks County, at the Hilltown Township Municipal Building, 13 W. Creamery Road and Route 152, Silverdale.

The program is free but donations are appreciated. The Historical Society is also holding an Open House at the Strassburger Farmstead, 407 Keystone Drive and Bethlehem Pike, Sellersville, on Saturday, March 25th, from 10:00am to noon.

The PA 71st Infantry Civil War re-enactors will be in attendance.
