Since 1956, when then superintendent Medill Bair came up with the plan for the Pennsbury Scholarship Foundation, many hundreds of Pennsbury High School graduates have been assisted with funding for their post-secondary education.
Scholarship awards consist of half grant and half zero-interest loan with flexible repayment. For the 2022-2023 school year, 66 students were awarded $200,000.
PHS graduates may apply before the May deadline every year they are enrolled in a qualifying post-secondary education program. See contact information below.
Community members and parents are encouraged to get involved by helping to read applicant essays in June, volunteering to be a Board member, and by donating to this worthy cause. New and more difficult economic factors translate into more financial need for students.
