Bucks Beautiful – ‘Keeping Bucks County Beautiful!’

Bucks Beautiful is a grass roots non-profit that coordinates events, community projects, educational programs and partners with local organizations to develop sustainable and attractive landscapes that foster a healthier environment. Since 1990 we have worked to enhance the environment for residents and visitors alike by beautifying towns, schools, parks, roadsides and pathways throughout Bucks County.

Replant Bucks – We’re leading the way in local reforestation. Damage from storms, disease and insects on the tree canopy has been devastating. With support from community partners we continue to plant native trees at parks, historical sites, schools and non-profit facilities. Donations are welcome to reach the goal of planting 10,000 trees for future generations.

Educational Offerings – In addition to our newsletter, “Bucks Beautiful Bits” are unique broadcast briefs featuring people, places and plants. Both can be viewed on our website and social media channels.

Bulbs for Bucks Daffodil Tour – April through May – Over 1.6 million daffodil bulbs have been planted in public spaces county-wide. This past fall, elementary students at three local schools took part in our school planting program featuring these springtime bloomers.

Spring Fling Fundraiser: April 21st, 2023 – Enjoy an evening in country elegance at the historic Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm. All proceeds from the live and silent auctions benefit our various initiatives.

The 28th Annual Kitchen & Garden Tour: June 11th, 2023 – This event showcases an exciting mix of properties in and around the historic Borough of Doylestown. Funds raised bolster community garden grants, horticultural scholarships and educational programs.

Membership – Join a special network of neighbors, nonprofits and businesses committed to enhancing Bucks County. Members receive free tour tickets, early admission and more! To become a member, or contribute to the cause, contact Bucks Beautiful by calling 215-340-3639 or visit  www.bucksbeautiful.org.
