TreeTrails Adventures at Phoenix Sport Club, Northeast Philadelphia’s largest outdoor aerial climbing attraction, has added lights for night climbing. Gina Bertucci, spokesperson said, “We have continued working to add trails since we opened. We now offer five beginner to expert trails and KidTrails for the younger climbers, and are excited to have completed lighting which makes it possible to climb in a magical glow after dark.”TreeTrails Adventures includes a main climbing area for ages seven through adult with a special area for kids called KidTrails. The Park includes challenges made of cable, rope and wood that span between platforms built around trees. These challenges include quirky bridges, netted tunnels, gliding rides and zip lines
Guests are outfitted with climbing gear and go through a Park briefing and practice before starting their two-hour climbing adventure. Bertucci continues, “Since opening, we’ve had nothing but positive comments about how much fun it is to climb high in the tree canopy. The addition of our kids course and now lights, continues to improve that experience.”
The steps to adventures start from the main tree platform where guests choose from five color coded beginner to expert trails. As guests conquer each level, the elements become higher and require increased balance, strength and stamina. The advanced black trail rises 50 feet above the forest floor.
TreeTrails is open weekends and holidays through the end of November with night climbing on Fridays and Saturdays beginning November 4th. Bertucci said, “We are launching our special holiday gift packs and season passes to save on giving the gift of lifetime climbing memories – perfect for the upcoming holiday season. Come and climb and do your holiday shopping at the same time.”
