Upcoming programs at Lower Southampton Library

The smell of pumpkin spice is in the air! Come join us for our upcoming fall programs at the Township Library of Lower Southampton. Visit the library for all you “Back to School” reading needs.

 ‘Library Closed’ September 3rd-5th in observance of Labor Day

 ‘Hybrid Chair Yoga’ Tuesdays on September 13th and 20th and 27th @ 12:00 noon.

Grab you chair and get into shape! Join Elda for an hour-long workout you will be sure to love. Fifteen in-person spaces are available. You will need to register for the Zoom link if you wish to participate virtually, as well as in-person.

 ‘Thursday Morning Movie Club’ Thursdays on September 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th @ 10:15 am.

This September we are featuring a curated selection of adventure, comedy and new release films. No registration needed. Movie line-up is on our website. Drop in for some popcorn and fun.

 ‘Barks and Books’ Every Saturday at 11:00 am.

Welcome Lucy, Harvey, Lia and Thor. These friendly therapy pets will be visiting for children to read their favorite stories. They will be joining us inside. Stop by and meet a new friend. Registration not required. 

‘Bored? Games for Adults!’ Monday September 12th and Wednesday September 21st @ 6:30pm

This event will be an in-person program. Register at our website and spaces are limited to the maximum number of people who can play that particular game.

‘Black Cat Drawing with Anita’ on Tuesday September 20th @ 6:30pm.

Join art instructor Anita Thompson as she teaches us how to draw a black cat in the night using mostly black and white colored pencils on black paper. For Grades 5-12 and Adults. Participants need to supply their own materials.   

 ‘Orange Owl Drawing’ on Thursday September 22nd @ 6:30pm.

Anita Thompson will show us how to draw an amazing big-eyed, orange owl using colored pencils. For Ages 7-18 and Adults. Participants need to supply their own materials. 

 ‘Autumn Trees Painting for Adults’ on Saturday September 24th @ 10:30am.

Instructor Anita Thompson will show us how use acrylic paint to create this ground view looking up at autumnal trees. For Adults. Library will provide materials. 

‘Ted Circle’ on Monday September 26th @ 6:30pm.
