Spotlight: Tyler Park Center for the Arts

Amid sounds of late summer crickets, planning for a much-anticipated annual event is in full swing at Tyler Park Center for the Arts. October 15th and 16th the educational community art center transforms for Crafts in the Meadow Fine Art and Craft Show.

Expect big top style tents, over 140 artists and crafts people, demonstrations by potters, fine artists, basketry, wood workers, jewelers and more. A magical atmosphere permeates the weekend when exceptional works of art are shared by makers coming together to wow, entertain, offer gift ideas and revel in the beauty of Bucks County. Tyler Park Center for the Arts is a non-profit art center nestled in the heart of Tyler State Park boasting 1800 acres of hiking, biking, walking and exploration.

The space comes alive with Brazilian martial arts/dance Capoeira demonstrations, Exquisite Jewelry, Wearable Fiber Art, Home Decor, Glass, Wood and Pottery at this highly juried event. Functional and Sculptural works, garden art and so much more grace all who opt to make them a part of their lives or holiday celebrations with excellence in craftsmanship and original designs.

A visit to Sculptors Row with world class sculptors and their work or checking out the Wood Fired Kiln opening as miniature horse and pot belly pig rescue’s wander through the show or paint piggy pictures for patrons are just the beginning. Kids Craft booth and community hands on Pottery Sculpture creation can all be a part of the day as you Stroll through the large-scale sculpture exhibit with a beverage and some delicious food.
