Spotlight: Taste of Hawaii at Moku-Bowls in Peddlers Village

Visiting Hawaii, we fell in love with the foods, culture, and healthy lifestyle of the islands. Our travels inspired us to recreate traditional Hawaiian dishes at home. Soon our family and friends were hooked on the fresh island flavors of our creations – and the idea behind Moku-Bowls was born.

Our signature poke bowls, pronounced (poh-KAY), are a new spin on an Asian-inspired Hawaiian classic, traditionally consisting of marinated chunks of meat or seafood. At Moku, we serve our own style of poke over rice or zucchini noodles in a bowl filled with fresh fruit & vegetables, topped with crunchy add-ons and mouthwatering sauces.

We also offer healthy smoothie bowls, but we like to refer to them as Sunshine Bowls.

We begin with a base of acai, pitaya, coconut, banana, or fresh Greek yogurt. We add fresh fruit, granola, lots of crunchy toppings, and a dash of honey, peanut butter, almond butter or Nutella to sweeten your day.

We recently added freshly made dumplings to our menu. They are a wonderful addition to our poke offerings and go perfectly with our custom-built bowls. The dumplings are handmade in our store using all the freshest ingredients and steamed to perfection!

Moku-Bowls is in Peddlers Village, located on the back corner across the parking lot from the Cock & Bull restaurant. The store has an upscale beachy vibe. In the main dining area, we have a large communal table and counter seating. There is also a lounge with a couch and small tables. There is plenty of free parking and we are open seven days a week year-round!

If you prefer to take out, we have an online ordering app at www.moku-bowls.com. We’ve also partnered with Door Dash and Uber Eats for customers that would like delivery service.
