New fall programs
The Lower Southampton Township Parks & Recreation Department is excited to bring you all new programs for the fall of 2022.
Our goal is to provide quality recreation at affordable prices for all of our residents and beyond. Youth programs include Ballet, Tumbling, Hip Hop Dance, Cake Decorating, Drama and more.
For adults we have a variety of ways for individuals to get out, meet new people, and enjoy some quality programs. You can join a Zumba class, moms can join a “Boot Camp” with their infants and toddlers, or you can learn how to make a decorative wreath to spruce up your home in our Floral Design class.
Speaking of your home, this year we will host two separate House Decorating Contests. One for Halloween and a separate one for Christmas. We are looking for the best decorated houses in Lower Southampton Township. If you are interested in entering your home, you can register on our recreation website: www.lowersouthampton.recdesk.com/community/home. Prizes will be given to the top three houses, as voted on by the township residents.
Community gatherings are also a major part of the Parks and Recreation Department, and we want to invite everyone to our upcoming events at Playwicki Farm.
On Saturday, October 1st we will host an Octoberfest, followed by our annual Halloween Fun Day on the farm on October 22nd. The Halloween Fun Day will feature a children’s costume contest, trunk or treat, and more. Our year on the farm wraps up on December 10th with the annual Christmas Open House.
