The Friends of the Doylestown Library will host its week-long indoor book sale this fall – the first time the event has been held in four years – at the Doylestown Library Center, 150 S. Pine Street, Doylestown.
The sale will run from Friday, September 30th, through Saturday, October 8th, with the first day of the sale reserved exclusively for Friends of the Doylestown Library members (for membership information and book sale hours, visit friendsofdtownlibrary.org).
Sale items will include all genres of gently-used books, including newer fiction, non-fiction, and ‘coffee table’ books, in hardback, paperback, and audio formats.
Proceeds of the Friends book sales support Doylestown Library programs, equipment and materials, such as the recently-installed interactive light board in the children’s area and the monthly Book Page distributed free at the library.
“We’re excited to be able to host the indoor book sale again, and appreciate the library providing us the space we need,” said Liz McCarthy, chairperson of the Friends Book Sale Committee. “We’re also grateful for the book donations we receive throughout the year, without which our sale would not be possible.”
The Friends of the Doylestown Library is a non-profit organization supporting the Doylestown Library.
