At The Dance Academy (TDA) we offer something for everyone who wants to move, dance, tumble, and experience the joy when music meets motion.
It is the mission of TDA to offer professional dance training with a personal touch. Our goal is to instill the love of dance in all who pass through our studio doors, and we believe that the art of dance should be both an educational and inspirational experience.
With 35 years of experience behind us, we strive to build self-confidence, a strong sense of self-esteem, outstanding work ethics, and a sense of pride and accomplishment in each of our students. Developing these traits in our tiniest tots to our most experienced performers, helps students to not only become proficient dancers, but well-rounded individuals both on and off the stage.
Since 1987, The Dance Academy has secured its place among the finest dance schools in the tri-state area. Under the direction of Ms. Donnajean Kline (BFA in Dance, Temple University) and staffed by a group of highly trained instructors, The Dance Academy has acquired countless awards and accolades each year.
Through recitals, community performances, parades, competitions, advertising publications, professional companies, and tours our current students and alumni are spreading their passion for dance, both here in the States as well as on international stages. Our students can be seen as Radio City Rockettes and on international cruise ships. Many have gone on to successful careers in teaching, business, medicine, engineering, and law just to name a few.
The Dance Academy offers a wide variety of classes and levels and offer both recreational and competitive dance training. Our teachers incorporate age-appropriate dance skills for every age and level from ages 18 months to adults. There’s something for everyone!
