Turf Care – Our seven-step program keeps lawns beautiful and weed free. If you are considering Core Aeration and Overseeding, this program prepares your lawn. When was the last time you had your soil tested? Testing is a very important step in determining the program needed to get your lawn into proper shape. It allows us to know what micro-nutrients your turf needs, and if the pH levels are where they should be. pH adjustments are crucial for the proper uptake of the elements your lawn needs to be at its best. This is a key program if you are renovating your lawn this year
Core Aeration and Over-seeding – Core aeration is a mechanical process that pulls plugs from your lawn in order to relieve soil compaction, and increase turf root growth. After this process, the lawn is ready for overseeding. Spot thatching and hand raking is done where needed. This is a key step in the seeding process, and helps prepare the soil to aid in seed germination. We perform a double pass, with the second pass on a cross pattern, to ensure maximum coverage. Aeration allows the lawn to breathe and allows better water and nutrient penetration into the root zone. Relieving soil compaction allows for quicker root spread, which also thickens the turf, and provides drought protection. This gives you a healthier stand of turf.
Spotted Lanternfly Suppression (SLF) – The adult SLFs are still feeding and getting ready to lay their egg masses. We apply monthly treatments in order to combat any particular month’s life cycle and population. One treatment alone is not sufficient for season long suppression. Treating now, especially at this time when adults are preparing to mate, will help kill the adults and prevent them from laying the eggs for next year’s attacking horde.
