Recently one of the crew leaders, Matthew, along with his wife Carlie, welcomed their newborn boy, Chase Matthew. On top of paid vacation time RD’s Total Lawn offers a paid paternity leave of absence for employees that are new parents.
“With newborn babies parents have enough to worry about and not getting paid from work to take time home with the family should not be on that list of worries. Anything we can do to help the family get adjusted, we are more than happy to do,” says owner Ryan Dittes.
RD’s says their goal is to raise the standard of professionalism in the industry and they believe that starts with taking care of their employees. In addition to paternity leave the company also is reported as offering tuition reimbursement for employees furthering their education through accredited colleges or trade school.
