‘Summer Reading-Oceans the Possibilities’ Begin Saturday June 16th. This summer join us for our annual Summer Quest. Sign up, read, complete fun activities, win amazing prizes and more! This program is open to both kids of all ages and adults. Visit the library and pick up your Quest kit and let the adventure begin.
‘Thursday Morning Movie Club’ Thursdays on June 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd at 10:15am. We are excited to announce that our in-person movies are returning to the library!
This June we are featuring a curated selection of dramas, comedies and new releases. We are making all the necessary changes to have your visit to the library safe and stress free. No registration needed. Drop in for some popcorn and fun.
‘Tai-Chi’ Tuesdays on June 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th at 9:00am. Join us at the ballfield behind the library for class of gentle stretching.
‘Bored? Games for Adults!’ Wednesday June 1st. This event will be an in-person program. Register at our website and spaces are limited to the maximum number of people who can play that particular game.
‘First Thursday Book Club’ Thursday June 2nd at 6:30pm. Join us for a lively discussion about this month’s selection “Libertie” by Kaitlyn Greenidge. Register at our website and spaces are limited to the maximum number of people who can play that particular game.
‘AARP Refresher Safety Driver Course’ on Tuesday June 7th at 9:30am. Learn the current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques, and how to operate your vehicle safely in today’s increasingly challenging environment as well as how to manage and accommodate common age-related changes in vision, hearing, and reaction time.
Requirements: Must have taken an AARP Safety Course within the last 3 years, but due to the pandemic, check with your insurance company regarding the expiration date in case they have extended it if yours has expired.

‘Ted Circle’ on Wednesday June 8th at 6:30pm. Register to receive the link to this virtual program. After viewing the talk, we will participate in a lively discussion of the topic. Register at www.lowersouthamptonlibrary.org.
‘Seashell Drawing Class with Anita’ on Thursday June 9th at 6:00pm. Join art instructor Anita Thompson as she teaches how to draw a tropical seashell scene.
Participants need to supply their own materials.
- Drawing size is 7 inches x 5 inches pre-drawn on copy paper
- Blending stump (tortillon)
- Pencil with an eraser

‘Lolly!’ (In Person) Monday June 27th at 10:30am. Join us for our very popular music, movement and stories with the very popular musician and storyteller Lolly. For children ages 1-6. Registration required.
