Spring has sprung at Free Library of Northampton Township

The Friends of the Free Library of Northampton Township sponsor our Second Saturday programs March through November.

On Saturday, April 9th at 2:00pm, we welcome Ed Eisen presenting ‘Happiness GPS: Where to Find It’. 

Ed Eisen, an award-winning author and journalist, tells the story of what makes him the happiest guy in the world. This presentation will leave you with a sense of joy.

The Tuesday Morning Matinees will now begin at 10:00am. 

The first film, on April 12th, is ‘Nomadland.’ This Academy Award winning film is rated R and runs for 108 minutes. Fern sets off on the road exploring life as a modern-day nomad. 

‘King Richard’ will be shown on April 26th. This Academy Award nominated film tells the inspiring true story of the father of Venus and Serena Williams as he molds them into two of the world’s greatest sports legends. This film is rated PG13 and runs for 144 minutes.

As the weather gets nicer the Children’s Librarians are taking some story times outdoors. 

Stories in the Garden for children ages four through six will take place on Tuesdays April 5th, 12th and 19th at 11:00am at the library. Stories and gardening activities brought to you in partnership with Ms. Bonnie of Tyler State Park.

‘Destination Story Time – Travel the Parks!’ for ages two and up at 10:30am will be held at four different parks during April and May.
