CHECK OUT THE NEW BUCKSBLOGSPOT. HELP FOR BUCKS COUNTY BUSINESSES AND ECONOMIC RECOVERY – BUCKSBLOGSPOT

    Spotlight: McCaffrey’s Food Markets

‘Carry Kindness’ at McCaffrey’s Food Markets

Hopefully you’ve seen or own some of the colorful, reusable bags in our stores that read, Carry Kindness.

The sentiment is part of our on-going new year’s resolution to be gentle with each other and our planet. They’re also a gentle reminder to bring your reusable bags with you when you shop.

In NJ, the single-use plastic and paper bag law goes into effect on May 1st.

It prohibits the use of these bags in all stores and food service businesses statewide, a significant step to reduce harm and pollution that these products cause to our environment.

We are kindly recommending that our customers in our PA stores voluntarily comply, as well! Don’t worry: We have bags for purchase at checkout if you forget!

Not only can you bag all your groceries in our colorful bags, but you pack all of your produce in our new, biodegradable produce bags.

We also have reusable produce bags for sale in the Produce Department.

Or, you can bring your own from home! We give you many options to Carry Kindness! More information about our Go Green Initiatives is on our newly designed website: mccaffreys.com.
