SPOTLIGHT: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

Hop on down the bunny trail

Good Shepherd is a Lutheran congregation in Southampton that has been at the corner of Street Road & Churchville Road since 1917.

It’s mission to share God’s love with all peoples is displayed through their active Youth & Music programs and numerous outreach programs.

Over the next year, they are looking to provide more outreach to the local community through community events and local projects.

The first community event of the year is THIS weekend, Saturday, April 2nd from 1:00 to 3:00pm (rain or shine) in the Good Shepherd parking lot.

Come hop on down the Bunny Trail – a Trunk or Treat style Easter event. This is a FREE event open to the entire community.

Children should bring a bag to put their candy/treats in as they walk down the trail to each trunk. There will also be live music and a photo opportunity.

Registration is encouraged at gslconline.org, but not required.

If you are looking for a new church home with meaningful worship, uplifting messages and great music, they would love to have you visit them!

Worship Services are held on Sunday mornings at 9:00am in-person and live streamed on their YouTube and Facebook pages. Sunday School and Adult Education classes are offered at 10:15am following the service.

Youth Group is held on Sunday nights at 6:00pm for 6th to 12th grade students.

Good Friday, April 15th – 7:00pm;

Easter Sunday, April 17th – 9:00am and 11:00am.
