Lambertville has announced the 39th year of its Historic Shad Fest, coming the weekend of April 23rd and 24th.
Hosted by the Greater Lambertville Chamber of Commerce, this event features the region’s finest artists and crafters, offering jewelry, ceramics, furniture, apparel, accessories, home décor and more!
You can find just about anything at Shad Fest – a rain or shine event.
New this year are children’s activities, a home and garden section, and a farmers’ market.
Local’s Lane will feature artists from the Lambertville/New Hope area.
This two-day extravaganza also provides a venue for local non-profit organizations.
Come out for some great food! Everything from taco salads to fried calamari. There will also be the tried-and-true favorites: hot dogs, fried Oreos, hamburgers, fries, and fresh lemonade for the traditionalists.
For your pet’s safety in large crowds, please leave your dog, cat, ferret, python, or pet rocks at home.
There will be an Original Poster Art Auction hosted at First Presbyterian Church, 27 N. Union Street, Lambertville, from 11:00am to 5:30pm on Saturday, April 23rd, and 11:00am until 2:00pm on Sunday, April 24th.
Come out to a local’s Preview Party on Friday, April 22nd, from 6:00 to 9:00pm for a first glimpse.
All proceeds from the Shad Fest Art Auction go to the Jim Hamilton Shad Festival Scholarship Fund.
