Waiting for spring at The Free Library of Northampton Township

Spring is just a month away.

Looking ahead to spring the library has planned some interesting programs for adults.

These free programs are sponsored by the Friends of Northampton Township Library.

All programs require registration by phone at 215-357-3050 or online at northamptontownshiplibrary.org/adult-programs

On Saturday, March 12th at 2:00pm, Ken Serfass presents Lee’s Surrender 1865. You will meet Ulysses S. Grant who will be sharing some of the inner workings that lead to the momentous day when Lee surrendered.

On Saturday, March 26th at 2:00pm, Carol Spacht presents Dora Lewis …Winning the Vote. How did women in America win the right to vote? Dora Lewis shares her own experience as a militant suffragist for the National Woman’s Party.

Tuesday Morning Matinees continue on March 8th and March 22nd at 10:30am in the Community Room.

Check our website at northamptontownshiplibrary.org for details. Please feel free to bring a cushion for your seat and a sweater in the event the room is too cool for you.

As always, our Children’s librarians have planned some fun programs for all ages. Just to name a few: Baby Jamboree for babies up to 23 months take place Wednesdays and Stories and More is for ages two and up on Thursdays.

Visit our website calendar beginning 8:00am the morning of each event to register for that day.

On January 12th the new WISE catalog system was launched. If you are having problems looking at your account online, it is probably because you need to create a password, instead of using a PIN. The librarians at the Reference Desk can help you.

Please call us at 215-357-3050 or stop at the Reference Desk. Don’t let the new system frustrate you.

All of the staff at the library are prepared to assist you.

The Free Library of Northampton Township is located at 25 Upper Holland Road, Richboro.
