Spotlight: Author Doc B

Felecia Burton, known as “Author Doc B,” is a wife, mother and grandmother whose geographical change in life brought her expertise to Bucks County, first moving to Philadelphia in 2005.

Over the past 16 years of her sobriety, Felecia has dedicated herself to her studies. She earned an associate degree in Behavior Health & Human Services from Community College of Philadelphia and a Bachelors in Behavior Health Counseling from Drexel University.

Felecia went on to get a Masters Degree in Psychology from Northcentral University, and complete a Doctorate Program at The American College of Education where she became an Educational Specialist in Leadership. 

During a worldwide pandemic, she launched her first book The 3 C’s: How I Survived Crack, Cancer and COVID-19 and in March 2022, Felecia will launch a workbook titled ‘The 3 C’s, A 30-day Workbook: Your GPS General Practice of Survival’. 

With her life’s experience and education Felecia has provided Behavioral Health Services for over a decade and is currently a lead clinician in the Bucks County Area. 

While Felecia provides treatment services for those with substance abuse and mental health issues, she still finds time to host her podcast on YouTube “Bring it to the Table,” addressing social justice issues in the communities.

Felecia has spoken at Drexel University, People About Change Recovery Program, ODAAT Recovery Program, Live on both Instagram and Facebook.

Her newest project will launch on February 27th on WURD Radio 97.1 FM and 900 AM, “Bring it to the Table” with Everyday People, hosted by ‘Author Doc B’ every fourth Sunday from 2:00-3:00pm.

Felecia’s motto is “Changing Lives, Making A Difference.”

“Through my written work, transformational coaching skills, professional clinical skills, my life and behavioral experience, you will obtain an unabashed and unconventional metamorphosis,” says Felecia. “I am here to provide you with some tools so that you can overcome, conquer, survive and gain RECOVERY too.”
