Shop local in Buttonwood Park, Yardley Borough on the first and third Saturday of each month through April 16, 10:00am to 12:00pm.
You’ll find a wide selection of local vendors, including fresh produce all winter from Gabe at Abe’s Acres Farm, which is made possible through his recent installation of high tunnels.
“High tunnels and covered growing spaces allow us to extend our season year-round, bringing you the freshest and healthiest produce throughout the winter!” said Gabe.
You’ll also find farm fresh eggs and meats, mushrooms, breads and baked goods, small-batch prepared foods including granola, soups and dressings, ravioli, condiments and sauces, pickles, olives, coffee, natural plant-based soaps and alpaca items.
Gluten free and vegan options are available.
YFM is a food-oriented market, making it a great place to shop for your family meals.
Plus you’ll find produce purchased directly from the farmer tends to last longer than produce purchased at other locations, helping to save dollars by eliminating food waste. And it’s a great opportunity to get outside with your family and talk to the people who grow and prepare your food.
In 2021, YFM began accepting SNAP EBT and through a partnership with St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Yardley have been able to match SNAP customers purchases up to $10 each market.
Hilary Greer, Rector of St. Andrews, said of their matching SNAP grant, “Our local farmers market is a vital part of the Yardley community! St. Andrew’s is delighted that our partnership with YFM can help make healthy and nutritious local food available to all.”
