Service Above Self is the Rotary motto and Morrisville-Yardley Area Rotary Club is accepting new members that are looking to impact local and international communities through social/environmental based service projects, and events.
Covid restrictions limited our ability to be as active as we would have liked, but we are really looking forward to a new year that will re-establish many of our great events and community service projects.
Our annual Easter Egg Hunt will be back in Williamson Park on Sunday, April 17th at 11:00am. It has grown year over year and draws hundreds of children searching for over 10,000 candy and prize filled eggs.
The Car Show will be returning bigger and better than ever, including a new Spring show.
We will continue our local clean-up and maintenance projects in Morrisville’s Williamson Park and along the Delaware Canal, along with collections for local food pantries.
This year we are establishing an ESL (English as a Second Language) Program to assist residents with integrating into their local community. Finally, we will continue to support and fund health and educational programs around the globe.
In addition to the long-standing Rotary International programs, last year we were able to support a program to purchase seven dialysis machines and provide affordable treatments for extremely needy persons in India through the Bangalore Kidney Foundation.
We run hybrid meetings on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month with a live dinner meeting at Michael’s Restaurant and Zoom.
If you are interested in doing great things for your community as a member of the Morrisville-Yardley Area Rotary Club, please contact us at: www.MorrisvillePARotary.org/HowToJoin.cfm or join us for a meeting and dinner at Michael’s Restaurant and Lounge 935 Lincoln Hwy, Morrisville. We welcome anyone who is ready to put Service Above Self.
