MOEF financially supports programs for students in grades K-12 which augment the quality of education that would not otherwise be possible.
These include educational equipment; participation in programs at the Franklin Institute and Constitution Center in Philadelphia; Philadelphia Zoo; Churchville Nature Center; Adventure Aquarium; and Snipes Farm- Farm to School. MOEF also offers a Music Scholarship.
Young Playwrights program gives students the opportunity in writing class to study a play and write one with professional feedback.
Books for Keeps is an exciting program that gives books to our kindergarten children to keep to encourage the joy of reading. We also have two Little Free Libraries at the Intermediate and Grandview schools. Donations are always accepted.
MOEF has received generous donations from our corporate benefactors Waste Management Inc. and Fulton Bank under the PA DCED educational Improvement tax Credit Program (EITC). This funding supports the Virtual Conferencing; Summer Youth Leadership; Girls STEM Design; Physics in the Real World programs and computers for student home instruction during the COVID-19 disruption to classroom instruction.
The Rapture Project – Birds of Prey brings these magnificent birds to Morrisville’s students and included a session for the community.
The EITC funded Canal Visitation & Immersion Program (Tails of the Towpath) is very special to us as the Delaware Canal flows through Morrisville Borough. Students learn in the classroom and at the museum in New Hope about its historical importance to commerce, how the locks operated, and the lives of the barge tenders.
MOEF relies solely on donations to fund our programs. If you want to make a tax-deductible donation, learn more information, or join our Board, Contact us at MOEF@mv.org.
