The Lower Southampton Township Parks and Recreation department has begun a major overhaul to bring more year-round programming into the township for our residents and non-residents alike.
Classes have begun for Dance, Tumbling, Art, and Cake decorating for youth.
Adult programs such as Floral Design and Zumba have also become popular programs.
We are looking forward to programs like Parents Night Out, Esports, Mommy and me, Karate, Women’s Self Defense, as well as offering programs for Senior Citizens during the day. We will begin offering bus trips this Spring to Washington D.C. and some other to be determined locations.
While we are also busy planning our traditional Summer Camp we are working on a new Sports Camp that will feature a different sport each week, as well as a possible environmental camp at Playwicki Farm.
We are also working on the necessary repairs and updates to the Lower Southampton Pools at Dolphin Park. We are anticipating a great summer by the pool at Dolphin Park.
More information about pool membership as well as Summer Camp registration information will be released on our website (lowersouthamptontownship.org) and our Facebook page “Lower Southampton Township Parks and Recreation” in February.
Do you have an idea for a future class or program? We would love to hear from you.
