SPOTLIGHT: Giselle Toys (and Ballet Shoppe) moves to Yardley

A renowned boutique specializing in unique ballet wear, and keepsake toys to enhance your child’s creative play, “Giselle” is happy to make a home in our new location at Commonplace Reader bookstore, 49 S. Main Street in Yardley.

Beyond the toys, we feature 5 styles of ballet slippers and dancewear for children and adults to outfit the ballet dancer in your life. You can peek at our collection online and place email orders or visit the store to shop–and add our items to your holiday list!

Our store roots go back to Princeton, NJ, 18 years ago, where we were determined to offer a full-service boutique to serve the needs of the area’s dancers. We started out on Nassau Street across from Princeton University, later moving to 301 N. Harrison.

As the years continued and retail changed, Giselle started carrying select toys with a ballet theme made by Maileg, a woman-owned company based in Denmark.

This past year, we were happy to open our new location in Yardley, which carries high-quality toys as well as the ballet shoppe, which continues the tradition of “Giselle of Princeton”.

Come on in – you’ll find a wide selection of Maileg Toys and Collectibles, MinMin Copenhagen Toys, Machi Noodoll toys, DIY toys, miniature architectures, a line of organic toys and clothing, and Miss Rose Sister Violet accessories (plus Angelo Luzio ballet slippers).

It’s no secret what makes us special, once you browse instore or online: http://giselletoys.com/.

Store hours: Monday through Friday, noon to 5:00pm; Saturday, 10:00am to 5:00pm. Closed Sunday but available by appointment.

We’d be happy to hear from you if you have any questions.
