Since 1955, BP has never stopped innovating. We are determined to make the camp experience the best it can be and are always looking to add new activities and special events, and enhance facilities. For the 2022 camp season, there will be four new play spaces: Sandy’s School House, Swings & Things, Outdoor Art, and Jr. Gaga.
Sandy’s School House is an addition to Breezy Town, the child-sized village of playhouses where campers use their imagination to play-pretend. It is named after our School Director, Sandy McCloskey, who has been an integral part of the BP family for 41 years. The red schoolhouse with a bell on the porch is fully equipped with a chalkboard, books, an interactive calendar, busy boards, and other educational toys. Campers can play the role of the teacher by holding “morning meeting”, or play the role of the student by participating in class. Sandy’s School House stands among four other playhouses in Breezy Town: Nina’s Market, Aunt Judy’s Bed & Breakfast, Uncle Bill’s Workshop, and the Breezy Point Fire Station & Post Office. Breezy Town is a favorite among many campers, both in Jr. Camp and Sr. Camp!
Three other exciting additions to the camp program are Swings & Things, Outdoor Art, and Jr. Gaga. There will be a variety of unique swings added to the new area down the hillside of BP. With a diversity of swings, campers of all ages will be able to enjoy this play area. Our younger campers will also enjoy Outdoor Art, an activity that integrates water, paint, and chalk, and a Gaga court built specifically for Jr. Camp.
This camp season is bound to be one of the best! If you are interested in learning more about BP, please call the office at 215-752-1987 to schedule a tour, or visit www.breezypoints.com.
Come check out our new additions as well as the staples that have made BP the place to be since 1955.
