When the weather outside is frightful, reading books is so delightful! It’s a great time of year to get cozy and get reading, and the perfect time to participate in our Adult Winter Reading Club!
Our club will run January 3rd through March 4th.
Each time you read a book and fill out a review card or form, you will be entered in a drawing to win a prize! Prizes will primarily be spring-themed to celebrate the arrival of warm weather and the fact that we survived the winter reading great books and sharing our reviews with other readers. Club folders with everything you need to get started will be available at the front desk on Monday, January 3rd, 2022.
Join us on December 14th at 10:30am for the Tuesday Morning Matinee. Feel free to bring a seat cushion and a cozy sweater.
The PG-rated film is Little Women. It runs for 135 minutes.
This is the beloved story, both timeless and timely, of the March sisters – four young women each determined to live life in her own terms.
Even if you have read the book, come see the movie! Please register beginning online or by calling 215-357-3050. Look forward to more movies in 2022.
Winter Reading Challenge for kids in Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Beginning January 8th come into the library to pick up your reading log.
Read 20 minutes a day each weekday for 6 weeks. Return the completed log to us by March 5th to receive a surprise treat!
In January the library is migrating to a new management system.
You will notice a difference in the Card Catalog.
We ask for your patience as the staff gets familiar with this new system.
