The Crossing Church, located in Washington Crossing, PA, is excited to be launching their brand-new basketball league in November 2021!
This league is for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Each child will be on their own team and take part in one practice per week and one game per week.
Games will be held on Saturdays in January and February.
Register by November 12th to get your child signed up.
In the league, kids will learn the fundamentals of the game, improve their skills, and make great friends. They will also hear messages about God and learn from the Bible during halftime.
The cost for the season is $60 per child. The church offers discounts for families with multiple children as well.
Practices will be held during the week on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays, at the availability of each head coach. Games will take place on Saturday mornings.
The time commitment for each child is two hours per week (one hour for practice and one hour for their game).
One of the primary goals of the Crossing Church is to always be a blessing to the community. With a gym that houses two full basketball courts, the church is excited about opening its doors to the community.
In early 2021, the church partnered with Upward Sports to begin to host sports camps and leagues in its facility. Over this past summer, the church hosted its first basketball camp, and it was a great success.
