Establishing an open-concept Mexican restaurant was always a dream of Peppe’s owner, Daniela Cottone.
When dining in Mexican restaurants, she often found herself overwhelmed.
The many dishes and the combinations of ingredients and options made it hard to choose without having to ask many questions.
Eight years ago, she made that dream a reality and opened Peppe’s with an open kitchen, allowing customers to view all the ingredients, ask questions prior to ordering, and customize their selection to their individual tastes and dietary needs.
This local family-operated business has a passion for preparing delicious Mexican food, all from scratch.
“We wouldn’t be here today without the support of our loyal customers and local community,” says Daniela. “Especially during the past year and a half, without patience and support during such challenging times, we might not have made it through.”
Since its inception, she has continued to develop the business and has added weekly/daily specials to the regular menu offerings of all the typical favorites.
Specials include empanadas, al pastore, and the newest addition, quesabirria tacos.
A selection of freshly prepared salsas provides just the right amount of heat to meet everyone’s taste. The guacamole and salad dressings are also made in-house.
Most things on the menu are gluten free and there are many vegetarian and vegan options.
A limited amount of indoor seating is available along with take-out and curbside pick-up upon request. Delivery is through Door Dash or Grub Hub.
Catering is available for your next office party or special occasion.
Peppe’s is open Monday through Thursday from 11:00am to 8:00pm and Friday and Saturday from 11:00am to 9:00pm. Closed Sunday.
They are located at 3501 Brownsville Road in Trevose. Call 215-357-3773 to place your order.
